Description: The Nanuk is a remote weapon station designed by Rheinmetall Canada for integration aboard light, medium and heavy armored wheeled or tracked platforms deployed in combat and peacekeeping missions. Thank to its sensor package, the weapon station is well suited for law enforcement and border patrol operations. Its modular architecture allows to integrate a variety of sensors and weapons as well as eight smoke grenade launchers. The weapon options available for Nanuk include 5.56mm, 7.62mm, or 12.7mm machine guns or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher (AGL). The sensor package may include CCD-TV camera, cooled or uncooled thermal imager and laser rangefinder. It also features acoustic sensors, laser warning receiver, ballistic computer and aiming/firing sequencer.
