Description: The Outrider is a small and lightweight unmanned aircraft system (UAS) developed by Lockheed Martin and Wirth Research in the United Kingdom (UK). The Outrider can be launched by a canister and is intended to operate where conventional UAS are not well suited. The air vehicle has been designed to operate autonomously and can reach speeds of 50 knots carrying high definition (HD) infrared and TV camera. The Outrider was introduced at DSEI exhibition in September 2017.
