Description: The Personal Equipment and Common Operational Clothing (PECOC) is a futuristic personal kit intended to outfit the British infantrymen. PECOC is a fully-integrated line-up covering everything from body armor and backpacks to boots and gloves and its design reflects a high level of modularity and weight distribution. The personal kit for fighting forces encompasses ballistic and sensory protection, load-carriage, clothing, footwear, gloves and sleeping bags. According to the United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Defense (MoD) the PECOC is expected to enter service in 2012.
