Description: The US Army Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) is a program developed within the Next Generation Ground Combat Vehicle (NGCV) initiative aimed at delivering an unmanned combat platform by mid 2020s. The program is split in two a light and medium-weight variants to be deployed by 2023 and both utilizing wheeled platforms. A heavy variant might be intended mounted on a tracked chassis to be deployed at a later date. QinetiQ North America and Textron Systems will deliver four RCV Light and four RCV Medium robotic vehicles by 2021 under a contract issued on January 10, 2020.
