Description: The Indian Air Force Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) is a twin-seat variant of the PAK FA/T-50/Su-50 stealth fighter aircraft. In addition of being provide with two tandem seats the new aircraft will feature a new wing design to load more weaponry. The FGFA is a further development involving Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) of India. The aircraft is envisaged as a follow-on to the successful Su-30MKI operated by the Indian Air Force with its mission profile focusing on the air-to-ground engagement as part of the aerial supremacy doctrine of India. The FGFA is expected to enter service by 2020 after the entry into service Russian Air Force Su-50 in 2017.
