Description: The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) Wing Loong II is a second generation unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) developed by Chengdu Aircraft Corporation. Externally the Wing Long II is similar to the US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper with a V tail and a single turboprop engine. The aircraft includes satellite communications and a nose-mounted electro-optical package as well as up to 12 air-to-surface precision guided missiles. The Wing Loong II aircraft was unveiled at the Beijing Air Show in September 2015. The PLAAF may deploy the new UCAV alongside the GJ-1 and Wing Loong aircraft.
