Description:
Bell 430 is a twin engine helicopter developed to conduct search and rescue (SAR), Emergency Medical Service (EMS), offshore and law enforcement missions. It is equipped with four-blade bearingless composite main rotor system, an enlarged and quiet cabin for superior comfort and twin Rolls-Royce 250-C40 engines rated at 808-shp continuous power. The cockpit builds on Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs). It can accommodate up to ten passengers including two pilots. The Bell 430 is available with either skid gear or wheels.
The first Bell 430 helicopter produced by Bell Helicopter Textron was delivered entering into service in July 1998. Since then, more than 135 commercial models have logged in excess of 7,000 flight hours.
