The Enstrom 480 is powered by a single Rolls-Royce 250-C20W turboshaft engine rated at 305-shp (420-shp thermodynamic) which drives a three-bladed main rotor. The aircraft achieves a top speed of 125 knots and a cruise speed of 115 knots with a maximum range of 370 nautical miles cruising at 3,000-ft of altitude. The maximum flight endurance is 4.7 hours at 3,000-ft of altitude.
