Description: The Dolphin-class submarines have been designed to perform surveillance, special operations infiltration, anti-ship and anti-submarine missions. Dolphin derived from submarine of type 209-1300/1400.

Each Dolphin-class submarine is equipped with 6 533mm torpedo tubes capable of launch Harpoon anti-ship missiles, torpedoes and mines. In the near term the Dolphin submarines may be able to accommodate land attack cruise missiles supplied by the United States or Israel's defense industry.
