Description:
The Sauro III coastal submarines are an improved derivative of the Sauro coastal submarines introduced by the Italian Navy in 1980. It features an improved sonar system and a maximum operational depth of 500 meters over previous Sauro-class submarines.
The Sauro III coastal submarines has 6 533mm torpedo tubes and 12 A184 torpedoes.
