Description:
The Danubio IV is a new offshore patrol vessel class build by ASMAR shipyard in Talcahuano, Chile, for the Chilean Navy. Danubio IV class will consist of two ships that will perform surveillance, search and rescue, environmental monitoring and provide support to isolated locations within the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) waters.
In November 2006, Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine was selected to supply the Integrated Bridge System (IBS) for Danubio IV vessels.
