Description: The Project 21630 Astrakhan is a new generation of river-sea type gunboat designed to protect Russia's 200-mile maritime economic zone and provide naval gunfire support for counterterrorist operations. The ship features stealth technology and is equipped with large- and medium-caliber dual purpose guns. The Astrakhan-class vessels were deployed in the Caspian Sea to Russian borders. So far, the Russian Navy has commissioned three Project 21630 gunboats.
