Description: The Common Anti-air Modular Missile (CAMM) program is designed to provide the next generation of anti-air guided weapons for land, sea and airborne operations being fully compatible with existing command and control (C2) and sensors (radars etc) facilities. The new missile family is designed to engage high-speed jets, helicopters, supersonic cruise missiles and sea-skimming anti-ship missiles. These missiles will use low cost components and re-use software in order to achieve a significant reduction in customer costs. MBDA plans for the deployment of three variants for maritime CAMM(M), airborne CAMM(A) and land CAMM(L) applications between 2015 and 2020.

The CAMM-ER missile is an extended range version of the CAMM(L) missile being offered to support the Land Ceptor ground-based air defense system. The CAMM-ER missile will have a maximum range in excess of 40 kilometers.
