Description: The I-Derby is a family of all-weather, air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles developed by Rafael featuring an active radar seeker with look-down and shoot-down capability. The I-Derby missile family also features lock-on before launch mode and programmable electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM). The missile was fully tested, proved and deployed by the Israel Air Force in the mid 2000s.

The I-Derby MR, also known as the Derby with booster or Derby-MR, is an all weather, medium range, surface-to-air missile featuring derived from the I-Derby missile. It can shot down airborne threats at ranges of up to 35 km and flying at altitudes of up to 16,000 meters thanks to a rocket booster which enhances the range of the I-Derby missile. This missile was developed as part of the SPYDER-MR medium-range air defense system in the early 2010s.
