Description: The KM-SAM, also known as CheonGung, is a medium range surface-to-air missile (SAM) intended to hit targets at ranges between 30 and 60 kilometers at altitudes from a few tens of meters to more than 20,000 meters. The KM-SAM missile has been provided to the Republic of Korea's M-SAM mid-range air defense system in the early 2010s. The KM-SAM weapon are launched vertically from a 8x8 truck with eight (4x2) canister tubes.
