The Monolit guided missile existence was revealed in October 2018 and is expected to be fired from both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. The Monolit leverages some of the key characteristics of the Broneboyshik 80mm anti-tank rocket but adding a guidance system. Tekhmash Corporation expects the new weapon to enter testing in early 2020 with the aim of fielding the Monolit in the 2021-2022 timeframe.
