Description: The Nimrod is a long range, laser-guided, anti-tank missile designed to be fired from ground vehicles and helicopters. Forward deployed forces use a laser designator to direct the Nimrod missile, fired from an emplacement located at 26 km, though its target. The Nimrod missile can also be used as a coastal defense and anti-personnel weapon.
The Nimrod missile is currently in service with the Israel Armed Forces. This weapon is well suited for rapid reaction forces.
