Description: The Refleks, AT-11 Sniper NATO-codename, is a subsonic laser beam riding anti-tank missile designed to be fired through the 2A46M 125mm smoothbore gun family. It provides extended range and enhanced lethality over conventional rounds fired by the 125mm gun. A tandem shaped charge warhead has been provided to the Refleks missile in order to defeat Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) protected Main Battle Tanks (MBT) as well as heavy armored vehicles protected with advanced armor.

The Refleks anti-tank missile has been deployed with T-72, T-80 and T-90S Main Battle Tanks (MBTs). All of them are armed with a 125mm smoothbore main gun. The Refleks missile provides an important asset over US and allied made heavy Main Battle Tanks such as the Abrams, Leopard 2, Leclerc, Challenger, Ariete, Merkava and Type 90. The Refleks was introduced in the mid-1980s as the replacement for the Kobra anti-tank missile fired from the T-72 tank series.
