Description: The S-13 is a 122mm unguided rocket developed by the former Soviet Union for use by a wide variety of airborne platforms to engage targets on the ground. These rockets are deployed on B-13L external pods carrying five S-13s each and compatible with both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft such as Su-24, Su-25, Su-30SM, Mi-28, Ka-52, Mig-29 and Mig-35. Its development started in the 1970s entering service with the Soviet Union Air Force in 1983.

The basic S-13 rocket has a maximum range of 3 kilometers carrying a 21 kilogram warhead penetrating 3 meters of Earth or one meter of concrete. The S-13B variant carried a heavier penetrating warhead and the S-13D is provided with a fuel air explosive (FAE) warhead. These variants were deployed between 1983 and the mid 1990s.
