Description: The Skif is a tripod-mounted man-portable anti-armor missile developed by the Luch Design Bureau of Ukraine to destroy moving and stationary armored targets equipped with advanced ceramic armor and explosive reactive armor (ERA). The guidance system consists of laser beam with automatic target tracking (SACLOS) and the warhead is a tandem hollow charge. The Skif missile system is also capable of taking out other targets such as weapon emplacements, a tank in a trench, light armored vehicles and helicopters. The launch post includes a thermal camera and a remote control and can be operated from closed emplacements and shelters to reduce the risk of counter fire attack by the enemy. The missile has been designed to engage targets at ranges between 100 meters to 5,000 meters (3,000 meters at night) and penetrating reinforced armor with a thickness of up to 800 mm.
