Description: The US Navy W93 is a new strategic nuclear warhead to be deployed by 2040 as the replacement for the W76 and W88 low and high yield nukes. The new nuclear weapon program was launched in early 2020 and might be provided to both ballistic missiles and cruise missiles as well as hypersonic weapon systems. The W93 program pushed forward by the Pentagon and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is valued at about $14 billion for roughly 2,000 nukes.
