Description: The XM1156 is a low-cost Precision Guidance Kit (PGK) developed by Raytheon that can be integrated onto existing 155mm and 105mm artillery rounds. XM1156 consists of a GPS-guided fuze that corrects the course of the artillery projectile to hit a given target with great accuracy while minimizing collateral damage. The gun firing tests of this guidance kit were completed in April 2006. The XM1156 is primarily aimed at the US Army's requirements for low cost artillery rounds with low Circular Error Probable (CEP).

Raytheon's XM1156 borrows components and subassemblies from M782 Multi-Option Fuze for Artillery (MOFA) and the Navy Guidance Integrated Fuze program.
