Description: The AN/TSC-154 SMART-T (Secure Mobile Anti-jam Reliable Tactical Terminal) is a low-cost, HMMWV mounted EHF satellite terminal which provides unattended, robust, worldwide, low probability of detection, jam resistant, multi-channel communications in support of the field commander. Typically this means communications between widely dispersed forces.

The satellite terminal can be removed from the HMMWV vehicle to operate in a stand-alone mode, remotely operation mode is also allowed. The power for the SMART-T system is supplied by a self-contained diesel generator. A single soldier is able to set up the entire SMART-T in just 20 minutes.

The SMART-T operates in connection with Milstar I, Milstar II and FEP satellites.
