Description: The AN/VRC-83 is a UHF/VHF tailored for application in vehicular installation with or without Electronic Counter Countermeasures (ECCM). It is fully compatible with COMSEC (communication security) and qualified to military specifications. The VRC-83 features assured logistics support due to commonality of modules with the PRC-113 and the TRC-176 radios.
