Description:
Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Cluster 2 (C2) is software-defined radio system developed for the United States Joint Armed Forces. It is fully compliant with Software Communications Architecture (SCA) and features JTRS Enhanced Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR), or JEM. JTRS C2 highly interoperable radios serve as the backbone for the future network-centric force.
Thales Communications is the prime contractor on JTRS C2 program.
