Origin
United Kingdom

Contractor/s
BAE Systems

Description: The Q-Sight is a family of helmet-mounted displays and tracking systems developed by BAE Systems to provide situational awareness for rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft pilots. The system features lightweight and ergonomic design as well as increased visibility, flexibility and reliability. The miniature display clip weighs less than 4 ounces (110 grams) and can be attached to any helmet allowing for plug-and-play ease of use. Q-Sight modular design allows for low-cost addition of new capabilities and makes the system easily upgradeable and retrofittable. It is also compatible with other helmet-mounted technologies. The Q-Sight was first unveiled at AUSA exhibition October 2007.
