Description: The SIT-V1 is a battle management system designed by NEXTER for the French Army. The SIT-V1 provides situational awareness at the tactical level. The French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) plans to install this new battle management system onto 650 armored fighting vehicles owned by the French Army such as AMX-10RC, VBL, VB2L command post vehicle and VBCI. The system was tested by the French Army in Ivory Coast in summer 2006.
