Description: Series 8000 is a low-cost, modular High-Frequency (HF) Communications System designed for naval applications. It provides multi-channel, multi-mode networked capability while saving weight and space. Software defined and open standards architecture system are the keys for future growth and proof upgrades implementation. Open system interfaces is crucial for a networked capability.

The US Navy and the Royal Navy selected Series 8000 for their Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and Type 45 destroyer programs respectively. Deliveries to the Royal Navy started in January 2006 while US Navy deliveries began in September 2006. Series 8000 communication system is available as an off-the-shelf product or tailored to meet customer's specific requirements.
