Description: TopSight is a helmet-mounted sight/display system developed by Thales Group for the French Air Force Rafale next generation multi-role aircraft. It was designed to provide Rafale's pilots with situational awareness and flight information as well as automatic target designation, tracking and acquisition. The TopSight helmet-mounted display system is coupled to the IR sensor mounted at the frontal section of Rafale's fuselage.

TopSight has proven the ability to resist the stress of ejection at over 625 knots (approx. Mach 1). As of April 2005, the TopSight helmet-mounted display and targeting system has been integrated into Dassault's Rafale and the Mig-29K Fulcrum multi-role aircraft ordered by the Indian Navy in 2004.
