Description:
Te AL-41 is a 40,000-lb class engine being designed to power Russian fifth generation aircraft. It features Thrust Vectoring Control (TVC), advanced materials, optimized radar cross section and IR signatures for stealth, Fully Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC).
The AL-41 engine is a follow-on of the proven AL-31 which powers Su-27 family aircraft. It would power both single and twin engine aircraft.
