Description:
The F100 engine was developed to power the twin-engine F-15 Eagle air defense fighter. Subsequently it was adopted by the F-16 Fighting Falcon multipurpose fighter.
The initial F100 engine variant, F100-PW-100, powered the F-15A/B fighter and F-16A/B models.
