Description: The F100 engine was developed to power the twin-engine F-15 Eagle air defense fighter. Subsequently it was adopted by the F-16 Fighting Falcon multipurpose fighter.

The F100-PW-232 engine is the latest and most powerful derivative of the F100 engine. The -232 engine features a larger and more efficient fan. This engine draws heavily up the technology of the F119 engine.
