Description:
The F404 engine was developed to power the US Navy's F/A-18 Hornet. It has been proved as a reliable high performance engine.
The F404 incorporates an array of new technologies, modular design and advanced materials.
The F404-GE-100D engine is a non-afterburning derivative of the F404-GE-400. The -100D engine powers Singapore's A-4S Super Skyhawk providing dramatically improved performance.
