Description: The RB199 engine was designed to meet the requirements of the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy for a low altitude attack aircraft known as Tornado. RB199's development was carried out by Rolls-Royce, MTU and FiatAvio. RB199 engine is compact and has reduced fuel consumption.

The RB199-34R Mk104 engine is the most powerful RB199 engine derivative and powers Tornado ADV Air Defense Fighter.
