The Sahand propulsion system consists of four engines and can stay deployed for up to 150 days. The ship features stealth characteristic to avoid radar detection with advanced electronic warfare (EW) capabilities. The weapon system consists of surface-to-air and surface-to-surface missiles, Kamand gun system, torpedo tubes, and a flight deck for a medium sized helicopter.
