Description: The ASR-11 is a solid state, long range, S-band radar, surveillance radar. It is highly modular and re-configurable. Its redundant subsystems and built-in test equipment allows unattended operation being monitored and controlled from different locations. The primary surveillance radar provides coverage of 60 miles (97 kilometers) and monopulse secondary surveillance radar coverage of (193 kilometers).

The ASR-11 radar was selected by the DoD for the US DASR program. Raytheon will provide 213 ASR-11 radar systems. ASR-11 radars are suitable for both civil and military air traffic control requirements.
