Description: The CIV (Commander's Independent Viewer) is a second generation FLIR with daylight TV designed for the Bradley A3 fighting vehicles. It provides a 360� battlefield view, silent-watch operation, early threat detection from longer standoff ranges and hunter-killer capability, gunner engages current target while commander searches for new ones. The CIV thermal viewer also enhances vehicle's survivability.

The CIV are being installed on M2A3 and M3A3 Bradley fighting vehicles under SEP (system enhancement program) modernization program.
