Description:
The Elta Systems EL/M-2112 is a family of persistent ground surveillance radar for both military and police customers. This high-resolution, multi-mission radar family features simultaneous multi-beam technology which translates into the ability to track multiple ground targets over a wide area. The fact that the EL/M-2112 radar is not based on a rotating antenna allows for increased rate of target detection, improves Doppler differentiation and provides high quality tracking of multiple targets. Up to four stationary planar radar antennas can be netted with a single EL/M-2112 radar system with each antenna covering 90-degree field. The radar system is suitable for both surveillance of ground and sea surfaces. The EL/M-2112 development was completed in June 2007.
