Description:
The PMC300 (Pole Mounted Camera 300) is an uncooled infrared camera for long -range day and night surveillance and vision enhancement. It generates high resolution 640x480 thermal imagery suitable for distances previously banned for uncooled infrared cameras. Typically, IR cameras feature 320x240 pixels resolution which means PMC300 has four times greater resolution as well as enhanced detection and recognition performance.
The PMC300 modular design allows to interface with third-party automated video surveillance systems. Rapid deployment features, operating flexibility and lower total ownership costs are other of the advantages of the new camera compared to previous generations. BAE Systems has provided a family of lenses ranging from 18mm (wide angle) to 300mm (telephoto) to match the requirements of a wide range of potential customers.
