Description:
The Soothsayer is an electronic warfare kit designed to be integrated on armored vehicles as well as airborne platforms. It will detect and identify radar and radio signals on the battlefield providing British commanders with unprecedented electronic intelligence capabilities. The first Soothsayer kit is expected to be deployed with British military units in 2006.
In 2003 the British Ministry of Defense selected Lockheed Martin to develop the Soothsayer electronic warfare system in order to be supplied to Army and Marines units.
