Description: The MT 883 Ka-500 diesel engine was developed by MTU and is suitable for Leclerc, Challenger 2E and M1 Abrams main battle tanks. United Arab Emirates' Leclercs are powered by MT 883 engines. This engine has also been applied to the armored recovery vehicle evolved from Leclerc.
