Description: The 2A42 is a 30mm multi-purpose automatic cannon designed by KBP to equip armored vehicles and rotary-wing aircraft. The 2A42 gun can engage materiel, dismounted infantryman, medium armored vehicles and low-flying aircraft. To date, the 2A42 cannon has been integrated with BMD-1/2/4, BMP-2 armored vehicles; Ka-50 and Mi-28 attack helicopters.
