Description:
The 2A70 is a 100mm cannon/missile-launcher developed by KBP Tula as the primary weapon for the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle. This gun system can fire 100mm rounds such as 3UOF17 and 3UOF19 as well as the Bastion anti-tank guided missile. The 2A70 cannon is used to provide outstanding fire support to dismounted infantrymen with a maximum rate of up to 10 rounds per minute. The muzzle velocity varies from 250 to 355 meters per second depending on the round.
