Description: The MK 30 is a 30mm machine gun and was designed to defeat air-,sea-, and land-based targets within ranges of up to 3,000 meters. This gun offers high reliability and low maintenance costs. It is suitable for ground and ship based applications.

The MK 30-2 is an improved version of the MK 30-1 and has been selected for the Ulan, Pizarro and Panther/Puma (NSPz) infantry armored vehicles. The MK 30-2 can fire Air Burst Munitions (ABM) to defeat a wide range of targets such as armored vehicles, dismounted troops, bunkers and helicopters.
