Description:
Denel NTW-20 is a medium caliber anti-materiel rifle weighing 31.5 kg capable of firing 20x82mm, 20x110HS and 14.5x114mm ammunition operated by a two-man crew. Optionally, this weapon system can be mounted on ground vehicles using an special mount also manufactured by Denel. Using 20x110 HS ammunition, which allows greater muzzle velocity (~820 meters per second) and explosive payload, the NTW-20 rifle has a maximum operational range of 1,500 meters. An 8x56 power telescope providing a 250mm eye relief makes up the rifle sight system. The spectrum of 20x110 rounds include AP, HEI, HEIT, SAPHEI, PRAC and PRACT ammunition.
