Description: The AN/ALQ-136 radar jammer is an automatic support system designed to protect helicopters and special operations aircraft from radar related threats.

To date, there are four updated ALQ-136 variants, the last one is the ALQ-136(V)5. The US Army's AH-64s and AH-1s attack helicopters are protected by AN/ALQ-136s. This protection system has also been installed on other rotary wing aircraft such as MH-60K and MH-47E (AN/ALQ-136(V)2 model).

In 1991, During operation Desert Storm the ALQ-136s were first deployed protecting US Army's rotary wing aircraft from radar threats.
