Description:
The AN/ALQ-162 is a compact, lightweight (40 pounds), countermeasures set that provides self-protection against continuous and pulse Doppler radar threats for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. It can be installed inside pod, pylon or internal configurations. In addition, it has been designed to be easily upgraded in the field.
The ALQ-162(V)6 is the latest variant featuring a microwave power module that provides more than double of previous models output power.
