The system comprises electro-optic sensors, countermeasures dispensers, processing units and cockpit display system. The CIDAS systems has been designed for integration on a wide spectrum of rotary-wing aircraft ranging from light to heavyweight helicopters.
The CIDAS 300 is the high-end system which can be configured with the full multi-spectral detection capability for radar which was not provided to CIDAS 100. The CIDAS 300 is particularly suitable for large rotary-wing aircraft such as AW101 Merlin.
