Description: The Compact Integrated Defensive Aids Suites (CIDAS) is an advanced family of systems designed to provide Electronic Warfare (EW) self protection and situational awareness for airborne platforms in sophisticated, diverse and dense threat environments. The system comprises electro-optic sensors, countermeasures dispensers, processing units and cockpit display system. The CIDAS systems has been designed for integration on a wide spectrum of rotary-wing aircraft ranging from light to heavyweight helicopters.

The CIDAS 300 is the high-end system which can be configured with the full multi-spectral detection capability for radar which was not provided to CIDAS 100. The CIDAS 300 is particularly suitable for large rotary-wing aircraft such as AW101 Merlin.
