Description: The T58 engine was designed to power jet helicopters in the 50s. It has powered a full range of jet helicopters produced in the United States and overseas such as H-3 and H-46.

The TF58-GE-16A engine is proposed as an upgrade kit being applied to existing -16 engines. General Electric will upgrade to -16A standard 300 existing -16 engines powering USMC's CH-46E helicopters.
