Description: The VK-1500VM, or VK-1500VK, is a turboshaft version of the VK-1500 turboprop aircraft engine intended to power medium class helicopters such as Ka-62. This turboshaft engine features high performance and reliability as well as long service life. Besides, the engine also includes full authority electronic and electro-hydraulic control and provides low level of emissions according to ICAO standards and low noise levels. The VK-1500VM/K engines are fully compliant with AP-33 aviation regulation.
